On friday I went to see VNV Nation at the Phoenix Club in Toronto. This was my second time seeing them live and it was even more amazing than the first time. I was in awe, I laughed, I cried, I screamed, sang and danced non stop for well over 2 hrs. It was amazing.
I needed it so much and feel so much better about things just from being at that show. it was a sea of never ending dancing people no fights just love and happy bouncy energy. But when they played Illusion and Nova I cried and cried, those songs always get to me and burn into my heart. They played Control and omg the power and energy that was pumping I was drunk on it, it was wonderful!
It was by far the best night I have had all year, it helped to make all the rotten things of this year fade away to nothing and be forgotten. I can't thank them enough for putting on such an amazing show, so amazing it helped to cure my soul and push me forward.
Now I can't wait to see the Headstones on the 8th with Rose! That will just be here in town but still will be awesome to finally see them live!
