A Furtive Meeting

A quick glance to the side as she walked down the hall. Chewing her lower lip slightly, she quickly snuck around a corner.

It never did to look idle, especially with Vashti still in charge.

Idling was a sign of disloyalty, and that carried a high price.

The simple black and red livery swirled around her body as she quickly turned another corner. Best to get out of sight. Ishamael's villa had been designed by a madman. The corridors were designed so oddly. Elia considered that there must have been some sinister purpose, some method to the madness, some reason for the odd angles, and twisting turns in the house.

She did not claim to know such things. Her job was simply to clean the corridors, but not of this portion of the house. She cleaned over near the sitting room. This was near the main bedrooms.

A quick, sidelong glance. It would not do to be caught.
