I haven't forgotten about this journal, I just haven't been writing poetry lately, and I've been too musy to write much of anything else. Here's a few poems I'm sure I forgot to publish before. Hopefully I'll have more time soon to write. I have a novel I need to get finished.
On to the poems:

#1:
What is it birds find to say
In their high singing voices and flapping feathers
Their clicking beaks and their beady eyes
Do they make comments on the weather
Discuss the strange absence of snow that week
Or wonder why it’s rained so much
On warm days do they sit round in birdbaths
Like the Romans, talking politics
Or clean out their nests like busy housewives
Tucking stray pieces of straw into place
Do they let other birds know about birdseed
Which house has it, which has forgot
The old lady has a tom cat, best watch out
Do they talk to one another, preening
Beaks in the air, and proudly announce
My mother was in Alfred Hitchcock
#2:
In winter fields
Deep drifts of snow
The wind does blow
To touch, caress
Dead daffodils
#3:
Cold arms of stone
An improper embrace
Smooth features from marble
A nameless face

That's all I could find for now. They were written quite a while ago now, and I would be the first to admit that they're really not at all good!
