A Girl Can Dream

I may have lost my marbles just a little bit, but there just happens to be a rumour floating around the net that Jack Davenport, along with Naomi Watts and Stephen Rea (yay, I adore Stephen Rea, he would make such an awesome Scrimgeour) are in negotiations for HBP. And since as you all probably know, I'm a bit of a fan of Jack Davenport, I like ( Read more... )

You know I hadn't even thought of that. I've been wracking my brains trying to figure out who Steve Jack could possibly play in HBP and I never even though of Regulus. Probably because I rarely think of Jack as scruffy (other than Norrington) but wow-- that's a really good call. Personally, I'd see him read the phone book but nice one! :)

Well, I'd been thinking for some weeks that Sirius had been taking style tips from Norrington (now there's a crossover fic I just have to write). I just really really hope the rumours true. A fandom cross over of this calibre would make my 2008.

I would be extremely happy if Jack showed up in the series. He's a great actor and PotC has really sent him into the stratosphere in terms of public recognition. I really wanted to see Gina Bellman as Bellatrix but figured she'd be considered too young to pull it off. Plus I think she's now tied up with Steven Moffat's Jeckyll anyway. (What? Me a Coupling geek? Nah!)

If Stephen Rea does get a role, I might have to drag a friend who refuses to go near Harry Potter to see it. She's been a huge fan since The Crying Game and this might be the thing to get her into Harry after all.

Yes! Get Gina Bellman in the movies somewhere, and then add Richard Coyle as Mundungus Flecture.

Have you seen The Libertine? Not only has it got Norrington & Jack Sparrow pestering each other, but it's got a Steve and Jeff reunion.

If Sarah Alexander were taller, she'd make a brilliant Narcissa... ;) I hadn't thought of Richard Coyle as Dung but that would be brilliant. (Pity he is another character that seems to have been written out, like Ludo Bagman).

I have seen The Libertine! I was pretty giddy over that too! :)
