I just got to say, that I love my team. Any of you reading this that haven't visited our site

That being said..... I really really hate stupid liars that lure our and other teams out with a bunch of fabricated bullshit in order to up their tourist. Namely THE ROGERS HOTEL in Waxahachie, Texas. We had reports of all sorts of stuff there. So we booked the "most active" room, room 409. We were given all sorts of stories of accidental deaths, murders, and suicides. The whole she-bang.
I had to do the write up on it post evidence review (which was completely fruitless. The 'active' basement where you got a bad feeling due to two 'ghost' from a 'murder' and accidental "setting on fire" was nothing but high EMF readings. The scary shoot where the singing watriess, who gave us the tour, was right next th the freaking breaker box) and I'm trying to double check these deaths and the history and what not. Guess what I come up with. You got it... Goose egg.
I was infuriated by this. This so called "paranormal investigator" who gave us the tour is spreading lies to tourest and feeding off of the paranormal community just to make his family a buck. And does he know how to play them too. He tried to single me out because I had a goddess (Macha the Crow) pendant on. He saw that so he tried to up the pagan bit. Eh, no dice babe.
I'm not naive. I've only been actively investigating with a team for almost two years now. But honey, I've been doing reseach and talking with senior memebers of the community since I was tweleve years old. Not to sound cocky, but I know what I'm doing. I've forgotten more then most of these so called "investigators" even pretend to know. Don't try to pull bs on me.
I'm also really tired of other teams that only get their pleasure from being little bitches and causing drama. No one cares. We know what's important. If we're out with out friends having a good time, its not business. We're off duty. Don't base our professionalism as a team based on how we are when we're having fun after a few beers or even when we're sober and just goofing around with our friends. How we are on our off time is not how we conduct ourselves during investigations and with clients.
This past weekend, as most of you know, was spent at Jefferson for the paranormal conferance. Even though due to two differnt investigations ( our team split in two) most of us missed most if not all of the actual confernace. But, we wanted to see our friends, catch up, whatever. Most of the teams that we are friends with are spread out by the miles, and we rarely get to speak with them face to face.
We were hanging out in the Cypress Cafe, which is owned and operated by several of our close friends. We feel at home there. We can do whatever, and hope that no one will judge us on it. Well, that wasn't the case. Some people even had the nerve to insult me and my team leader to other members of our team and our friends. Even tell our team member's boyfriend to rethink being a part of our team. Just because it was too loud for us to talk about serious investigation techniques and because we didn't follow the same method as she did.
We did not mean to be rude. But we were off duty. Times have been very, very stressful for most of us. We were looking to have a good time, and unfortunatly some of that was ruined by people only striving to bring us down. Not cool.
Any of you that have really delt with me or my team enough to know how we do business, you know how we are. We aren't going to let some senseless mouthing get us down. Those of you who don't know us, just don't believe the hype. More often then not, that's all it is, hype.
