[The video feed turns on, wobbles, and focuses on - a young monk in a mask. A mask that looks a little like...a certain Fire Nation Prince, only with the scar on the wrong side. The boy laughs delightedly, and another voice calls out softly from the side; Meryl shifts the view to an older monk, wearing a feathered mask of some exotic bird.
Gyatso smiles at the camera--and that's really all you can see of his face, other than his mustache. He's sitting up straighter than he has been--and although he's by no means healthy again, he's strong enough for this.]
Meryl here informed me that today is Hallow's End, or Halloween, and that it is tradition for children to dress in costume for the occasion! So in the spirit of today, we are proposing a contest! The--
[He coughs for a few moments into his one hand, but afterwards waves to the camera--and to the person behind it--as if to say that he's all right.]
The one with the best costume will win something sweet especially prepared for them once I am out of the hospital. Because there are so many people residing in Discedo, we have decided it would be best if contestants posted videos of their best costumes!
If you decide to participate, feel free to show off your costume whenever you are ready! Good luck to all those that participate, and a very Happy Halloween to everyone!
