[he turns this over in his mind a few moments. he doesn't want to need help; but he's been feeling so run down lately. too run down...to care about pride.]
I...yes, I would...appreciate that, Gyatso.
[locked to Gyatso]
There is a house on Gohl, in the opposite direction to Prydain's...
[and here, some instructions on how not to die when going in past the traps he's laid. HE WAS PROTECTING ELYSIA AGAINST A DEMON SO. yeah.]

[well, that makes him laugh.]
Indeed!
[here is my house, and here is the kitchen. o/ he hasn't lived here long, but he's obviously tried to make it home. there may or may not be debris from a young child laying around, and on the side is a tank of three fish.]
[COMMENTLOG~] ... yes I reposted for lay/lie correction. XDflynfruitpiesOctober 26 2009, 11:31:44 UTC
[There is definitely debris from a young child, and instead of being disapproving of the mess as one would expect from a monk, it makes Gyatso smile. It makes this place seem more like a home, more lived in. And any little mess that Elysia left behind is certainly easy enough to step around!]
Ah, your kitchen is far more spacious than the one I have been using! I should be able to make some meals that will keep for a while, depending on what they have.
[Gyatso doesn't make Meryl lie down, as there is no point in it. He'd rather Meryl enjoy being able to walk around as long as he's able. There will be time enough for Meryl to lie down if he continues to sicken.]
[COMMENTLOG~] /didnt notice, fails at lay/lie D:medanmyboyOctober 26 2009, 17:34:55 UTC
[he feels the same way. children are messy; it's in their nature. cleanliness is important to teach, of course, but a little clutter never hurt...most people.]
The apartments are a little small. This place reminds me more of....the dwellings of Stratholme, or Andorhal.
[meryl sits at the small breakfast table anyway. his movements have become slowed and stiff during his time in discedo. medications only help so much. what would fix him is his magic...]
[COMMENTLOG~] FFF, I was just being picky that time. |DflynfruitpiesOctober 26 2009, 23:21:15 UTC
Much smaller than an entire air temple, yes. But more than enough room for what is necessary. And having Aang with me makes it feel much more like home.
[Gyatso sits across from Meryl, watching him closely. He noticed how Meryl moved, but has no idea if it was normal for him or not. They are both old, after all.
He decides to get down to business.]
... What sort of symptoms have you noticed so far?
[COMMENTLOG~] xD I am pretty good with grammar intuitively but I cant recite rules or anythingmedanmyboyOctober 27 2009, 04:00:28 UTC
Mmm...
[children do seem to make it better. strange, he was never really fond of children until Med'an. who knew that a little babe would have so much power over him?
- for all the goodness that is children, though, it is nice to see a wizened face like his.]
Symptoms...?
[he rubs his forehead a little. he's always felt it important to be able to care for himself...and he's resisting the idea - that maybe he can't anymore.]
The fever, mostly. I've been tired for a while...
[he gives him a little embarassed smile.]
I'll be sure to rest. As long as I can stop worrying about my children, of course...
While you mean not to worry the children, I can handle it. I've taken care of the sick before.

[LOOK WHO CAN SUCCESSFULLY LOCK NOW. 8D Locked to Meryl.]
[Surprisingly, Gyatso doesn't comment much on the traps. Meryl seemed like the cautious type anyways.]
I believe I can remember all that. I will ask again if I cannot.

[now i'm going to try to rest while waiting for you. soooo tired.]

[And after a short while, Gyatso is knocking on the door.]
Meryl?

Gyatso.
[he smiles at his oldbiffle, face a little flushed from the fever.]
I'm sorry to be...a trouble.
[moves back a little to let him in; doesn't want to get too close.]

You are no trouble at all--I am here because I wanted to help you. [He chuckles.] Older people have to stick together, do they not?
