Uh... not that I've actually BEEN to the movies since my third time watching Twilight in theatres, but WHATTHEHEY.
Parents have "mysteriously" aquired copies of various movies that really shouldn't be out right now (i.e. Slumdog Millionaire), which may or may not be entirely my fault since, uh, I'm the crazy one who goes downtown AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK TO BUY $15 WORTH OF CHINESE FOOD FOR LUNCH AND DINNER. Because, ya know, if you're going to eat, might as well EAT RIDICULOUS LOTS, Y/N? [My amusement at this is that, guaranteed, the moment these movies officially come out we're going to be buying the DVDs just so mom can watch all the special features. SO WHY BUY THE PIRATED VERSION IN THE FIRST PLACE?]
And it is an epidemic, as now a friend from my mother's work ALSO happens to be "mysteriously acquiring" pirated movies (yesss, very subtle. LEAVE THE STUPID THING ON THE DESK. No one will notice, right?). So said friend has a... wow, seven, almost eight year old son who is one of those kids who is a bit behind other kids, but is so cute and so much lulz you can't help but love him.
Apparently, "Marly & Me" makes people cry... or, it makes said friend with the son cry. Bawl. Samedif. So Liam (the cutey son's name) kinda walks over to his mother, pats her on the shoulder, and starts comforting her with the, "It's okay, mommy. It's just a movie. You don't need to cry about it." Etc. etc. AND THIS KID IS NOW MY FAVORITE MIDGET EVER. Until my two baby cousins grow a bit older, though Alyssa shall be... three, methinks, this coming October, and she's starting to get to that stage, and Elizabeth has just turns eight months and is cute and adorable and a complete dork. She takes after me. :D
Anyways, HAHAHA, CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT A MOVIE FOR KHR WOULD BE LIKE? I just recently noticed that a lot of anime and manga have movies and the like attached to them, and all that KHR has is a video game or two or three. Which, ya know, is pretty cool, but I don't have a copy of any of them. Are they even released here yet? BUT OMILIFE, I want to watch a KHR movie. They'd probably have to go by either manga-verse and stick it in between Kokuyou and Varia or by anime-verse and either Kokuyou and Varia or Varia and TFA/TYL. Or maybe they're doing what they did for FMA, and waiting for the apparent end of the series? Ah well. I DO WANTZ.
Well, cannot wait for the next chapitre from Amano, because "Boycott" got me laughing so hard. The girls are all, "Haha, we have been super-stealthy-ninja-style and eavesdropped on their conversationz! Now we know all their secretz planz! ...except we don't understand most of what they're saying, SO INSTEAD WE WON'T DO ANY CHORES UNTIL SOMEONE EXPLAINS THIS TO US, EVEN IF IT MEANS THAT WE ALL STARVE AND STINK AND THE LIKE. AND EVEN IF BY KNOWING THIS INFORMATION WE'RE BASICALLY PUTTING OUR NECKS ON THE LINE, TOO."
...I admit I've really only looked at Haru and Kyoko with only amusement before, but now they're really getting into it. For me (and probably a lot of people, maybe?) Kyoko was the sweet, ignorant airhead that looked really nice as a background person but does NOT seem to have the physical (or occasionally mental) prowress to keep up with everything re:Vongola. And THEN we have Haru, who has single-handedly caused some of THE GREATEST ESCAPADES EVER. Including (especially) the "Kidnapping Lambo", the "Good/Bad Person Test" (or whatever you call it), and let's not forget how she got roped into this in the first place.
[Honestly, I'm actually a bit in awe of Haru. Mostly because she put up with so much... more than Kyoko in a way, because while everyone was actively trying to keep things hidden from Kyoko, Haru was always sort of half-in, half-out. Kind of. She knew about the Vongola, knew the general idea of what was going on, knew that they were fighting and planning and plotting and simply trying to stay alive, but no one ever gave her any details. So while Kyoko's sitting back, maybe with a couple doubts but nothing solid to base her worries on, Haru's "in", as in, she's informed about this thing in general, but she's "out", because she's so very sketchy on the details. It's like half of everyone treats her like they treat Kyoko and the other half treat her like a full-fledged member of the Vongola, so she only ever gets half the story, and THAT WOULD DRIVE ME CRAZY, YOU HAVE NO IDEA. If I knew people were fighting, okay, whatever. As long as you're safe, that's fine. But knowing WHY they are fighting, and all the background and the like, but never getting any details and only being able to trust that because everyone's still alive and smiling that everything's alright? OMILIFE, I WOULD ATTACK SOMEONE TO GET THE ANSWERS IF IT WAS ME. Which it is not. Yay.]
Anyways, obsessive amounts of posting AHOY coming up, as soon as I finish all the prompts for January from 31 Days. (Linkage?) Because although I'm not technically a part of this, I love reading what's posted, and I love going through and seeing what I can come up with for the various prompts myself. There's some that I'll be reworking, but I'm up to January 26 as of, uh, NOW, so they should be up soon.
Alright, spamming shall be stopped. NOWZPLZ.
OH! And Kuroshitsuji, Tales of the Abyss, KHR's OP6: EASY GO by Kazuki Kato (?), KHR's ED11: Smile for... by I forget who (Amano-sensei is having WAY TOO MUCH FREAKING FUN WITH THESE THINGS), and rewatching the original set of xxxHOLiC FOR THE WIN. [I forgot how well the anime does "creepy" for xxxHOLiC. Srsly. I got creeped out going through the "Hundred Ghost Stories" night thing, specifically @ Watanuki's. OMIGOD, THAT THING WITH THE EYES AND THE THING AND THE---AAAAAAAAAAH. =NIGHTMARES, RIGHT THERE, KTHX.]
