I've basically been ignoring NaNoWriMo this week due to essays and exams (aaaah midterms I HATE YOU SO MUCH) and have decided to focus mostly on said NaNo this weekend. Somehow, my original plan to do random oneshots for
31_days Novemeber's themes and/or using [Shards of Gold] as my NaNo piece has instead morphed together and been coupled with my attempts to write something to produce....
[Fairytale]
And I'm actually rather enjoying it, so much that I've been able to spend about four days each day (so far!) and have pounded out about 12,000 words in one weekend alone. I'm just taking a break before I go back to it (and letting my brain figure out what's going to happen next).
Now, I did say (I think?) that I would be posting [Fairytale] up here, but that won't actually be done until the story itself is done, aka November 30 (if not sooner?). This is entirely because I've... been screwing around with story structure, and it won't really make sense if I do "day" posts. I... might post little snippets? Maybe? At this point [Fairytale] is totally for my own amusement, moreso than me attempting to write for an audience, plus minimal (aka NO) editting besides what MSWord has been nice enough to auto-correct altogether means I'm wary of posting it.
[In the meantime, my soundtrack has effectively been all the KHR! themes, LM.C music, the Smokeless Tsuna FST and the Ties That Bind 5927 FST (which is ever so awkward, considering so far not a single pairing has appeared in this story and I'm not sure if any ever will....).]
Okay, I need to get back to work. Today is Sudbury's (first?) Double Day, and I have to go add an extra 3604 words onto what's already required for today. Or something. (Somewhere, somehow, 3604 is being added on to some other arbitrary number. I'm just not sure which number it is yet.)
Good luck on all your own pieces! :D
