Good stuff.
Really digging True Blood on HBO. When I first heard about it, I assumed it was going to be some sort of mopey angst-fest like most other vampire movies/novels/etc. And while the series has its fair share of angst, it also has a pretty good sense of humor. It's probably one of the better "modern" takes of vampires I've seen.
Bought some Monsterpocalypse figures. It's pretty much a dream game for me: giant monsters fighting each other. It's basically Godzilla the board game. It's a collectible game, which kind of sucks, but I haven't played one of these games in ages. I think I'll be keeping up with this one.
Been writing the past few days. Got some good ideas down on paper. We'll see if this writing streak keeps up for any reasonable amount of time.
Effectively got a "raise" or "promotion" at work. Don't know the details yet, but thinks are looking good in that department.
