Heck, it was in Mariole's icon that I first saw the Ithilien crotch shot. I didn't know where it could have come from, trimmed as an icon (the shot, not the crotch). Then when I was watching the new Extras for the TTT DVD, there was a sequence showing them filming the part where Frodo and Sam are captured by Faramir. The crotch shot is not in it, but they are filming it and I saw it must be the source. So I popped in TTT theatrical, and made the caps (for "my research:
my "research", as it were).

I missed them, too, Maewyn. But it really is an eye-blink in the film. I never knew where Mariole's icon came from but watching the new Extras on the TTT DVD I saw where it had to come from. As I told Estelanui above, I then put TTT in (the actual film), fast-forwarded to Ithilien and there were the caps. Voila!
