LotR Limited Ed. DVD Extras - EW goes over his lines....

Note: My apologies to dial-up customers, since there are twenty-eight images in this entry.

I actually capped this clip last November for an entry called Elijah in costume, laughing. That is because this footage also appears in a featurette called, Languages. This was included on the DVD extras I screencapped last fall from the theatrical ( Read more... )

Bless him! As I said in my previous comment this guy has a lovely laughter and like to laugh a lot. What a gift to see that beautiful face brightened by his smile!

And yes, as you pointed at me before, I was really blessed to witness "his brightness" for real. A lot of smiles and laughters that day!

*hugs you!*

Isn't he a "little ray of sunshine", though? *tweaks his merry little cheek* I still love thinking about you meeting him, Melyanna. You wrote such a fine report, making us all feel as though we'd met him in a special way, too.

How wonderful. I love all these.

And this scene reminds me of when I asked a friend of mine in England if any American actor had ever -- in her opinion -- "nailed" a British accent in a movie. She replied that Elijah Wood in "Lord of the Rings" was the best and most accurate she ever heard. :D

One of my theatre friends who had spent a year at Oxford was totally floored hearing him speak in the extras for the first time. She had assumed he was a British actor. If he does the role in The Oxford Murders as written with the student coming from Argentina, I hope they have another good dialect coach to work with him. I think he could use the acting "handle" of a foreign accent to help him more distinctly develop his character, so I am really keen to see him not play it as another American student abroad.

I remember this featurette so well. When he burst into that self-depracating, totally unself-conscious laugh, I just fell in love with him. This was a wonderful fan moment that I will treasure forever.

And a great source of icons, too! I'll have to re-do my "Hilarious!", "No shit!" and "Oops!" icons now that I have these with the better resolution.

I loved this moment when I first saw it, too, Mariole. I didn't have a crush on him or Frodo at all at that time, but I thought it terribly endearing. Who didn't want to squish him?

Who didn't want to squish him?

I think anyone reading this post would be guilty of that. It's just, some of us were mentally squishing certain parts before others. *flees before I'm arrested*

Not too hard, Mariole, that's all I ask. Leave some for the rest of us. ;)

Is it a bleak day there? It's grey, windy and snow-flurrying here. A perfect day for a laughing Frolijah. :)

No darling, the weather was fine- in fact absolutely amazing;
a genuine Indian summer day...
it was just me that was feeling bleak.
But no more, thanks to you and your gorgeous Frolijah.

Bless you!!

Sounds lovely! Our Indian Summer was last week. I believe that was the last warmth breath.
