The rain in Spain
I know that's a cheesy title, but work with me, ok? I'm new. No, I'm not in Spain, but I did just drive home in the craziest rain I've seen since I had to cancel my eighth birthday party due to flooding. After a six hour rehearsal for The Music Man (wherein I portray the lovely Eulalie McKecknie Shinn), which I expected to be terrible, due to an upcoming opening night and the way all directors get crazy, this torrent was just my reward. Normally I love rain... When unexpectedly hydroplaning in my poor little Cavalier... that's when the downpour loses its charm, non? So I suppose that is all for now. I hope to have good news to share about The Music Man when we open in... ten days, I believe. So yes, despite my hellish drive home, I am chipper indeed. It's just my default setting, I suppose. Either that or I heard that being in a good mood produces endorphins, which are natural painkillers.
