I wrote a poem once in differential equations lecture. If you haven't taken differential equations (and fluid mechanics)(and had my particular
professor, it is probably gibberish. But I thought (and think) it is clever. So I'm inflicting it on you.
Breezily swaying puffs of cotton candy;
Mint leaf accents flutter
Transforms
inside-Outside
so close
Mathematics of summer
juxtapose
sweaty sticky sweet
dust and sun
Shade and creeks and tea
Iced on a porch.
Well-mixed.
Laplace
integrates
but summer is nonlinear.
The key factors escape through the glass-
looking forward
playing elsewhere
barefoot with joy.
Stuck in z-space,
Alice is glum.
