Without a doubt, Isaac Asimov's R. Daneel Olivaw from the novels The Caves of Steel, The Naked Sun, The Robots of Dawn, Robots and Empire, and others that I wouldn't want to give away. Daneel was the perfect positronic man, and the template upon which other androids such as Trek's Data were based.
