Holy Crap! Gay Marriage Ban Overturned in CA!! (BREAKING)
Just the shortest of notes here, but I just heard on the radio that the California Supreme Court overturned the state's ban on gay marriage as unconstitutional. That makes California only the second state in the USA to make such a decision.
I don't think it's over. There's still the possibility that the state's redneckstaters could get an iniative on the ballot to change the state constitution, but it's not the best of times for conservative issues these days, thank ghod. But today: a big victory for justice, civil rights and common sense.
