Doctor Who - The Sound of Exposition
Well, that was a mess, wasn't it? No, I don't think most people (especially fans) would agree with me. But I'm afraid I found it a cacophonous, mostly pointless, 45 minute series of dull conversations and chases. I must admit, I really enjoyed Simon Pegg as the Master, he really nailed it. Shame there was no real drama in the first real conversation between the Doctor and the Master. Silly me, I was hoping for some brilliant confrontation along the lines of when Pacino met De Niro in "Heat". Instead, RTD puts them on the phone with each other. UGH!
Just didn't work for me at all, and don't see how next week will be any better. Peter, I owe you a fiver, you called it. Still, this was nice:
