Punk fucking sucks. Courtney Love and people who sound like Courtney Love suck. Screaming is unnecessary. Talented music upsets, aggravates, confuses, and bewilders those who aren't used it.
Punk is not talented music. Punk chicks are not talented, nor are they cool. There are cool and talented chicks in music, but they do not play punk, or pseudo-punk, or emo, or screamo, or bleedo, or need-a-tunero, or can't-singo, or I'm-depressed-about-nothingo. If all that shit is the next wave of music, then music should be declared to be in critical condition. It needs intensive care.
Lyrics mean NOTHING without music that tells a story. All they are is words, and should only be taken as such. You might as well read them. None of today's mainstream music tells a story. None of it. And what's worse is that the people who are willing to create talented music, bucking popularity and all its worth, are dwindling. Hardly any of these people get record deals, even though they're out there making real music everyday(see:archive.org). These people are working their asses off to save music, while the record companies are just putting it down the hole, or rolling it in a compost bin.
Fuck Jive, fuck G-Unit, fuck Shady/Aftermath, fuck My Chemical Romance, fuck all of those noun-verb-noun bands, fuck Fall Out Boy, fuck The Distillers, fuck Matchbook Romance, fuck Atreyu, fuck Something Corporate, fuck emo, screamo, hip-hop, pop, punk, and fuck the producers, labels, execs, and lame excuses for musicians and poets who keep it all alive.
I am a music snob, and I am trying to keep MUSIC alive.
