Hamster Love

Past two weeks I have been with Gon and the hamster. Now, from the start we always had planned to get two hamsters, so we got Bindi first, and after she was reasonably adapted, we got another one (don't worry, separate cages), which I got to name.

So, without further ado, I introduce Admiral Mostaard Hammes!

It's a Campbell's or Russian hamster.

And yeah, she rocks XD

Woot, a Campbell! I thought, they are extremely shy?

Well, there was a whole litter and we picked the one that was messing around in the cage and not huddled with the rest of the tiny hamsters. Turns out this one barely acknowlegdes our presence and sees being handled as a minor inconvenience instead of threatening.

Very cool. My hamster Napoleon was chosen by me because he was the most active hamster in the whole pet shop whatsoever. XD Meanwhile, he has calmed down a bit now he has got a cage for himself alone.
