My last weekend at work for a while
It's my last weekend shift for a while ... hooray ... I get my weekends back for about 5 weeks. So I am happy about that, and so is Bec.
Work has been fairly quiet as well, thank goodness, just a bit of a problem tonight ... but that was handled with ease though. Can't wait to get outta here this morning to go home and go to bed, I have the next 2 days off work, but one of them will consist of sleeping.
I haven't been here to update my journal for a few days ... I have had other things happening in the background, I have also started back into trying to organise my 10-year high school reunion again. The more I look at it, the more of a task it looks ... oh well ... it's a challenge I have taken on and I am not going to give up on it.
Went on a car cruise the other night ... I haven't been on one is ages ... had a good time ... the little Proton still gets up and goes well ... gave a MIVEC V6 FTO a good little race ... stayed even with him the whole run ... mind you his gearchanges were shocking ... not fair really ... he should have flogged me ... just goes to show it's not just the car ... it's who's driving it that really matters at the end of the day.
