In the car I generally listen to homemade Mix CDs culled from my music collection. When making these, I usually very carefully select what goes on them. Decided in a fit of boredom/sickness this weekend to just put my mp3 player on random and make a CD out of whatever it picked. If there was a song that was already on a mix currently in my car, or over 10 minutes in length, I would skip it. I also would skip a track if the same band was already on the CD.
Here's what I ended up with:
Nine Inch Nails: Last
Cassandra Complex: What Turns You On?
Yoshihide Otomo: Oki
Interpol: NYC
Thanatos: Splinters (re-stripped)
Conet Project: Workshop
Der Eisenrost: Isolation
Test Dept: Once the Red Dust Passes (pt 2)
Big Black: Bad Houses
Wumpscut: March of the Dead (F-A-V remix)
Doubting Thomas: I.D.L.
Legednary Pink Dots: Close Your Eyes, You Could Be a Space Captain
Das Holz: Intro
Meat Beat Manifesto: Kick That Man
Deine Lakaien: On the Way to Narmada
Evil's Toy: Contact
Melotron: Immer Noch
Machines of Loving Grace: Cicciolina
Leaether Strip: Razor Blades (Go Berserk)
The Leaether Strip and Cassandra Complex tracks are pretty wretched, but I decided to stick by my rules and put them on the CD anyway.
I encourage everyone out there in LJ-land to do the same, and post the results!

Also of note from this past weekend: I finished the last of the Skittles miriku gave me about nine months ago in exchange for a ride home from work. It was a LOT of skittles.
