After weeks of travelling around, working from home/coffee shops/friend's places/Santa Clara/Carlsbad, my company's new office in Redwood Shores is now open. If I look out the window, I can see
Oracle Headquarters. (For those not in the know, I worked for Oracle for about five years before I got my current job.)
It's rather unsettling driving around the area. I've been to the Redwood/San Carlos/Belmont area a bunch of times before for work, but it's very hard to think of this as my regular work place -- I'm too used to this area as a 'place I go for a few days'. Like moving into a hotel permenantly. It's going to take some adjusting.
I can't seem to get into the stairwell in the new offices. Meaning I need to take the elevator to the second floor. That bugs me.
