Deactivating my secrecy protocols may have been a mistake. Divulging information on my nature does not prompt panic and dangerous investigation, as I am informed it would in my world of origin, but it does cause undue confusion and surprise. However, at this time I have...chosen not to reactivate that programming for two reasons. Many citizens ( Read more... )

Thank you, Umi-san. I am pleased to have been of service, even though it was not in the manner I was originally intended.

Maybe as you meet more people and make more friends you'll realize you're better at some things than you thought you were.

That is a possibility.

I would like it if events occurred that way.

It'll surely will. There's plenty of friendly people here! It's actually amazing that almost everyone is nice. With some annoying exceptions.

I have met nice people in my world as well.

These exceptions. Are they a mere irritant, or are a danger?

Is "kick their ass" a figure of speech, or a literal description? In my world of origin it was a figure of speech, but I cannot be certain here.

You do not have to apologize.

I am not designed for kicking. It will have to remain a figure of speech for me.

I'm sure there's a lot of other stuff you can do that humans can't, though!

Correct. My combat capabilities are well above the human norm, and when I am required to do so I can process many kinds of information at an excellent rate.

That sounds impressive! The part I get, at least! It's really bad news to be defenseless in a place like this. Especially when curses get ugly.

I lack some of the combat power I had in my world, but what remains is adequate for my defense.

...I viewed the curse on Monday the 18th, but did not take part. However, I would be worried should I be forced to join future similar curses.

That one... Yeah. I think it tops all the nasty ones I've seen so far.

I hope you never get affected by anything like that. I wish no one had to be.
