Huh? The phones? As far as we've figured, they don't work. There's sort of a town nearby but I wouldn't trust it to have a phone that works... or anyone...

I'm still confused about that place.

Well... this one! They just don't work for some reason... The place was abandoned until we showed up here.

We all kinda end up here randomly too. Kind of works out, everyone here being a pilot at a base, right?

I'm not sure anyone knows really. I'll bed it's somewhere in the files, but I never went looking myself.

Yup. Plenty of them. Gundams, some huge things called Evangelions, Personal Troopers, even a couple of mobile armors have been around. Really... we kind of ended up being our own little army here... and it works out.

[He notices Kyrios, completely fixed and looking brand-new, and nearly misses her name]

Nice t'meetcha! [[Allenby keeps walking past Kyrios, not minding it since, she's never seen it before till now. More interested in seeing the others.]]

So, there's my Mobile Fighter, Nobel Gundam. [[She points out the girly looking Gundam.]] And there's some other ones. The Double Zeta, Zeta, and the Crossbone. They belong to some other guys around here. Mine's kinda different. It was made for the Gundam Fight, while the others were... I guess just for regular war or something. I never really asked.

[He studies each of the gundams, smiling at the girl's gundam. It was interesting how he knew it was hers. The others he made note of for later.]

Each is different according to their purpose and abilities. Your's is built for maneuverabilty, the others for hard combat.

Well... not exactly. The Gundam Fight is all hard combat. It's a one-on-one fight between the Gundam's of two nations. They hold the tournament every four years to see which nation gets to rule the colonies. Like the president, or prime minister... you know, depending on what the country calls it.

[[They are not unlike the Exia... not that she knows it, or Setsuna.]]

So... what do you pilot?

[Her gundam reminded him of Exia, the others more like his own Kyrios. He vaguely wondered if the other meisters were around here.]

[He points to Kyrios and walks over to it, looking up at it.]

I wonder how it got fixed...

Oh... theres a kid around here that just spends all day on them. It was probably him... but... I think there's something else to it since his is still a wreck, but the others get done pretty fast.
