Why does this sort of thing always happen to me?!?

I come home from a short day at my new job, a job I've been at for less than three days, and there's a message on my answering machine...from another (more awesome) job I sent my resume to two frakking months ago! Apparently they want me to come in for an interview! Augh!

I realize that this isn't all that bad a problem to have, BUT WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAPPEN???
