So Christmas came and went. Mine didn't start off to good. My mom's inconsiderate boyfriend called her at 6:30am. That woke me up and kept me up until 7:30am. I know how hard it is to keep friendships. I have a friend named Amanda, and we were friends all through grade school. We were in Brownies together, and we went trick-or-treating together, her parents were friends with my parents, etc. When she moved to Mundelin, IL, we tried to stay friends, but when you're in 7th. grade, and you don't have a car to drive 40+ miles to a friends house, or have dedicated parents who are willing to drive the distance to keep your friendship alive, we kinda grew apart. I kept calling her, pretty much almost every week and talking to her, but she would never call me. I wanted her to call me back for once, and it took her about three or four months before she realized that she still had me as a friend. I went over to her house about three times since she moved there about 8 years ago, and we just lost touch after that. I saw her about four years ago, at my brother's graduation party, and I called her cell phone, but she never called me back. That was about the end of that.

I'm sorry that you and your friend Jackie lost touch with each other. As far as the matter of getting your money back, try to keep in contact with her as much as possible, otherwise, you'll probably never see that money again.

Hey,

Thanx for the support. It's hard. Jackie and I haven't totally lost touch, but we're getting there. Every few months I kept reminding her about her boyfriend paying me back. I didn't want to bring it up a lot because it's not a nice subject to talk about but she is aware that he needs to pay me back. However, I don't think he will. I don't think our friendship is going to last any longer if things keep going they way they are.
We're going to have a talk this weekend (hopefully). So we'll see what happens.
