(no subject)
My school is fucking crap! I finally met with the special education advisor. She told me that I should go to my health care insurance and get a math assement done. That way if people asked what I needed help with I could tell them how I learn. I gave her my IEP! I've been waiting to give her my IEP since September! It clearly states what the hell I have problems with!
To top things off today was Evergreen's academic fair. I was looking forward to going so I could finally talk to a professor who was teaching a class that I was looking forward to going into. But was he there? NO! The fucking asshole shouldn't even be teaching. I've tried calling him and he had a voicemail saying to talk to his secertary. That boofucker should of at least came to the academic fair. Registration for next quarter is coming up! How the fuck are you supposed to get into a class you know nothing about and can't get a hold of the goddamn teacher?!
At the academic fair I ended up talking to a faculty member who is teaching a course in writing, advertisements, and public relations. I'm probably going to end up taking that course. I'll be making webpages, brosures, and writting essays. I guess that is good because I'll end up getting skills. I'm just so frustrated. I don't want to get stuck in another class where I'm basically doing busy work and not getting anything that I want out of it. If I'm in a program at Evergreen and you don't like it you can't drop it. If you drop your're dropping all the classes. The only good thing I can think of about this new course that I looked at today is that if I end up liking it, I can do an internship for credit in the spring. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
