Meeeeeeemmmmmmme
Here's something I sent in an e-mail a few days ago.
1. I've come to realize that my last kiss...didn't have nearly enough effort put into it on my part. I'll have to amend that when he comes home.
2. I am listening to...Blur "Song 2" You know it, it just has a suckass, non-descriptive title.
3. I talk.....incessantly, it seems.
4. I am dating...the same guy I've been dating for the last fifteen years.
5. My best friends...are not snobs.
6. My car is...a 98' Pontiac Sunfire that needs body work and a paintjob, is covered inside in goldfish cracker crumbs and toys, and smells like rotten milk. Yeah, it's a sweet ride, I know.
7. I hate it when people ask...(snobby voice) "Ugh! Well, why did you do that - eat that - wear that - talk to that - be related to that - listen to that - buy that - love that - watch that, etc. - ?"
8. Love is...something that needs tending to.
9. Marriage is...wonderful when you've got the right person. I'm a lucky gal.
10. Somewhere, someone is thinking...goddamit, will they shut up about "The Simpsons Movie" already. Jeez!
11. I'm always...hungry. Sigh.
12. I have a secret crush...on Alanis Morissette. I develop geek girl crushes on random female celebrities, but I always keep coming back to Alanis, that minx!
13. My mobile phone...is a Verizon something. Can't stay charged.
14. When I wake up in the morning... I'm always pissed off. Luckily, everyone at my house wakes up just as pissed off, so we just all agree not to speak with one another for an hour or so. God help it if our second child is a morning person.
15. When I go to bed at night...I have an intricate, hour long routine that must be followed, or I will not stay asleep for more than two hours. Ben is the same way. It drives Glenn nuts.
16. Right now I am thinking about...when in world is Ben going to wake up? I've got all the lights on, the music blaring....
17. Babies are...a gift, a miracle, a test, a challenge, hard, hard, hard work, the best thing that ever happened to me
18. I get on MySpace...never, I'm always on livejournal. It has less commercials, and, well, I'm too old to switch horses midstream
19. Today I am....wishing it was martini night
20. Tonight I will...*really* wish it was martini night
21. Tomorrow I will....take Ben to playgroup, clean up, drink alot of water (goal I've been working on), remind Glenn at least twice that it's martini night, and then go out and try to keep my drink limit to two martinis. I did well last time, I think.
22. I really want...to see either the Harry Potter movie or "The Simpsons Movie" while supping a mocha at the Carmike Wynnsong in West Knoxville. It is the best mocha ever in the history of mochas.
23. Someone that will most likely repost this is...me, on livejournal, because I'm too lame to think up my own content sometimes.
Update: I did amend the lackluster kiss when he came home - quite thoroughly too, I think. And martini night was last night, and I did keep my limit to a two drinks (weak ones at that, the boss lady was on the premises). Plus I had a gigantic chicken salad sandwich in between the two drinks, so I got to enjoy the deliciousness of a ripe melon ball soaked in vodka without the drawback of feeling like I'd taken too many antihistimines the next day. Now what am I going to do with those energetic fruits of responsibility? Why, clean the car and buy a plastic pink flamingo at Walmart of course.
