There are lots of songs I don't like, but when this particular song was out it seemed like it was EVERYWHERE. Plus, I just don't like the singer's voice.
A damned good choice. There's no end to the negative adjectives that can be hurled upon this heap of shit.
What I truly despise about Creed? When Scott Stapp claimed Pearl Jam ripped them off. Yes, despite Creed coming 10 years after PJ came around, somehow, their sound is a copy of Creed. Go ahead and figure that out.
I did find a quote from Creed bassist Brian Marshall, though:
"Looking at Pearl Jam's album sales, and their fans, you can just see a decline. I think a lot of it has to do with Eddie Vedder and the grasp he has on the rest of the band. He wishes he could write lyrics like Scott. They're a great band. I just don't understand why they went in the direction that they did, which is songs without hooks".
Which is pretty facepalm worthy, because I'd describe Creed songs as "Pearl Jam songs without hooks or memorable lyrics".
