It's happening not far from where I live. Is it something to go see? Even if mactavish won't be there? I'm sure there are people on my friendslist who know about it or who know people who are going (general sci-fi/fantasy convention in Cambridge,MA). I'd go for the day.

Remember the woman I told you about who does alterations? She will be there along with her whole tribe. She'll actually be on 3-4 panels I'm told though I may have to search on which ones they are. I believe there is at least one about relationships (no doubt poly relationships) and she's sure to be there. Her name is Lori. Check out the website link I posted for you before for a refresher on what she looks like. Tell her you're an old friend of mine from high school. She's uber excitable btw :-)

I'm sorry, she doesn't do alterations (it's late, I'm tired; just got in from a Jonathan Coulton show that ROCKED)...she's the one that makes wedding dresses but I had suggested her for the dress you wanted. I know they're closing on a house purchase 1/20/10 and will be busy setting up house so she likely wouldn't have time for a dress order at the moment :-(
