Drawing Life
laughing_anima introduced me to this wonderful sketch blog run by the artists Jessica McLeod and Grug called Drawing Life. Each day of the week, they pick a new source photo and post both their versions on it, and welcome people to post their on ones in the comments. You can take as long or as brief of a time on them, it's all good! It's a great motivator and a lot of fun, and I've been enjoying the diversity of images they choose (Monday: Men, Tuesday: Women, Wednesday: Buildings, Thursday: Man-made, Friday: Nature) especially because many of them I wouldn't approach on my own, because I am lazy.
