Yes It's Sketchbook Time

Jun 14, 2010 23:36

Just a few sketches today while I work on some larger projects (ie, Gaga comics. I mean, getting a job).

Mason Community Band playing out the Warren County Park (my dad's in there somewhere playing French Horn) on Memorial Day. Lotsa older people, veterans, and families with dancing babies.

The lady sitting in front of us was hugely pregnant, and you could see the strain of it in her back. She seemed to be enjoying herself though with her boyfriend/husband and their cute little toddler, who kept dancing by stomping one foot down repeatedly. If you look you can probably find them in here multiple times, like the baby with the stripies, and the girl with the bow who kept spinning around and around and then ate a little ice cream and then kept spinning and spinning...oh, those inconsiderate people, always moving around when a creepy girl tries to draw them.

And now, treats for all! Treats for everyone!

Giacomo Balla, "Dynamism of a Dog on a Leash," 1912
