im back!!
everybodys! i just got back from yosemite about 5 minutes ago. it was kind of fun i guess. everyone participating in the german exchange program went. we hiked up to the top of a waterfall yesterday! it was
tiring hiking all the way to the top because the trail was so long and so steep. oh yeah im sorry i didnt tell you i was leaving earlier but i actually thought i was leaving today! wednesday night i hung out with some people for a while and it was weird bacause they would talk german to each other and english to us. i had fun
yesterday night though. i was walking back to my tent from dinner (pieces of hamburger and potato wrapped in foil, echhh!) and some random girls asked me to go hang out with them. so i did. they were cool and came from redding with lots of other students. i forgot their names though... i think one was named catherine or
sarah.. oh well. we had fun. they went to go call their families and stuff and while one of them was on the pay phone i noticed that a little red light on a metal box blinked whenever she would talk. so we tried to pry the bow open and see what was inside. there were two little holes in the top of it that looked like nothing but whilst attempting to pry it open one of us hit a button inside. BOOM! ok fine it didnt actually make that noise it was more of a buzzing kind of noise as a key board slide out much to all of our suprise! it was hilarious! especially when a park worker walked by and we just kinda stood in front of the phone and watched him walk by. that was about thetime we realized that we didnt know how to close it! we tried every single button on the key board but nothing worked.we werent just going to leave it there and walk away. so we unplugged it and then plugged it back in and then it kind of jammed but went back in. very adventurous i know. then we were walking around and found some other people to join our troupe. actually it was more like they just followed us but anyway they were four guys from east bay somewhere.
oh well.. they were fun. we also met some older guys from somewhere who were looking for pot. they said that they heard some lady complaining that there was a party going on by her tent so they followed her. first they followed to the registration office, then to the showers, then to the bathroom, and finnaly to her tent. but she knew that they were following her and she had a little kid so it was funny! someone else from redding was with us for a while too. it was funny when he was talking to us looking towards us and ran into a tree! oh and the guys from east bay or wherever kept hiding behind trees and stuff and one of the girls was really freaked out by it so it was funny. so yeah i guess i had a good time in yosemite. oh and tommorow im going to san francisco with my family and karen.
