For the last 4-5 months I have received no less than 5 calls a day from these bastards. I have held on the line to reach someone only to politely tell them I am on the Federal No Call list and they are in violation of that list only to be sworn at and hung up on, and the calls persist.
If you try to dial the # that shows up on your caller ID, it is a fake number. The name on the IDs come through as things like: Your Health Plan, MRTG Services, etc...
They are all the same, they all tell you that this is your final notice for your expiring car warranty.
I am glad the FTC is finally doing something and I hope they take all that money back and give it back to the people they're scamming and bankrupt the whole organization. Nothing pleases me more as a responsible capitalist than to see irresponsible, disreptuable companies driven out of business. They give the rest of us a bad name.
