Doin my part for the economy.
The sellers of the house I wanted to buy accepted my offer. Soon I will own a small part of America and my own house! It is a very strange feeling having rented apts since I was 19 to finally be looking at home ownership (which is something I've been wanting for a long time).
The closing is tenatively set for June 5th, which will give me a nice 3 week overlap with my current place. Plenty of time to paint (hey Jenna...) and put up storage units and shelving and all that. Plus I have to buy a washer and dryer and have it installed (the only missing appliance).
Soon I will start posting up stuff I am going to be selling before the move. It'll mostly be computer stuff, a few pieces of furniture (my bedroom furniture is NOT coming with me other than the bed and 1 wardrobe) and a microwave I'll no longer need.
