My friends and I were bored today, so we grabbed all the instruments we could find and drove to Main Street. We set up on a bench at the beginning of the pier and started playing. We had a large bongo, two small bongos, an acoustic guitar, an ocarina, and a keyboard. We just kind of messed around, playing nothing in particular, but it actually sounded pretty good. Then we did a few covers. All Day and All Night, Louie Louie, and Twist and Shout, among others. It was such a blast. I haven't had so much fun in a long time. We're going to do it again tomorrow if anyone wants to see us.
We made $18 today. There were five of us, so we each got about $3. I blew it on a crappy sandwich at IHOP, but oh well. There's always tomorrow.
