Oh, and also...? I'm lately discovering that I can't stomach telling people how retarded they are. IOW, I read Meat's friends list, & I can only get so far before somebody says something along the lines of "I killed my rabbit through my own stupidity... pity me?" and I have to go somewhere else

I feel like such a scag to just find out now that your mother had passed away. I'm so sorry. I hope the best for you and your loved ones.

Really, you needn't apologize for not being able to keep up w/ the lives of random LJ friends... I know I certainly can't! o_O In any case, thank you very much for the condolences. It's weird... I used to not offer condolences to anybody, because I didn't know what to say... but in the last couple of years I've realized that it doesn't matter what you say... the fact that you've said *anything* means a lot.

Of course I don't mind if you add me! If I minded, I wouldn't have mentioned my other LJ's here. ;} Fair warning: I'm equally flakey about updating and/or reading the friends list on all of them...
