Back on the sunny island, Singapore
I’M BACK IN SINGAPORE!!!
First of all, I must apologise for the late update.
Oh well, I was really busy from the moment I touched down in Singapore.
I was busy with food (=P), unpacking, sorting out souvenirs, deciding for my final year project (FYP), and of course spend time with my family and xin.
Read on to find out more =)
From London to Singapore, the flight was 13 long hours.
On the plane, I was hoping time will pass quickly.
I was counting down the hours, then the minutes.
I was really eager to set foot on Singapore once again.
I was even more eager to see my family and xin.
I watched 2 movies, alice in the wonder land and toy story 1 on the plane.
I also slept quite abit.
So the time passed quite quickly.
Finally the plane landed safely in Changi Airport.
I’m back to Singapore!
I hurried got out of the plane, went to the duty free shops to get beer n wine for daddy and perfume for xin.
Then went to collect my luggages.
It was another anxious moment.
Coz it will be damn sad/irritated if my baggages got lots.
But luckily all came back safely with me.
After got everything, I went out of the arrival hall and I’m back with my family!!
Gave a big hug to everyone.
My parents, my sis and brother in law, and of course xin.
It just feels so great to see them again!
Really very happy.
Then we left the airport and head out for dinner.
Initially my dad booked a Chinese buffet for me.
But my sis suggested we go Bedok Blk 85 hawker center to eat.
Coz there got more local and better food.
It was definitely the right choice!
HAha… my dad order so many dishes!
We had hokkien mee, satay, oyster omelette, minced meat noodles, pork porridge, lala, BBQ chicken wings, wu xiang and sugar cane juice.
It was one whole load of food.
I really miss them and of course I ate the most (as usual)
It was a satisfying dinner =)
Then we headed home and I started to unpack.
Unpacking was another headache.
So many things to sort out.
But priority went to the choc coz otherwise they will melt!
Showed my family what I have bought while I unpacked.
They were eager to see what I have bought back.
They said I bought a lot of stuff back =P
It was a long night, then I sent Xin home after some initial unpacking.
It was my first time driving my precious car after 6 months.
I was definitely rusty after so many months without car.
Xin said she wasn’t scared to be in the car.
Hahaha…
But I got the hang of driving once again after driving for like 5 minutes.
Maybe coz I have been driving for like 2 years before that.
So the feel doesn’t go off so fast.
Glad to be back with my car again.
It simply feels great to be driving around once again =D
The next day, it was a Sunday>
So it’s family day.
My sis and brother in law came to find us.
We first went for lunch then went for some praying.
Was thankful that I had a smooth SEP and is back home safely =)
In the evening, I went out with Xin to watch Vietnamese water puppet show in Yishun.
Then had dinner.
Time really passes very quickly.
Another day gone just like tt.
For Monday to Wed, I spent the time unpacking, sorting out my stuff.
Coz the room was really in a war zone state.
But managed to clear the mess after much effort.
I also spent quite a bit of time looking through my FYP options.
Got 400+ projects for us to choose from.
Need to choose 8 and rank them in priority.
Shortlisting project is already a headache.
Need to read through so many projects.
Must decide carefully.
Coz it gonna be a 1 year long project, and definitely has a great impact on my uni result.
Whether I can grad with a first class honours will depend greatly on my FYP.
After much thoughts, I submitted my choice.
Hope I made a right decision and get wat I want.
Just now I also met up with my sockhoon, weeping and gilbert for dinner.
Coz gilbert is going to France for an attachment.
One come back another one go.
Haha.. the group is always not full.
After dinner, we went to send him off at the airport.

Bon Voyage and have a great time in France.
I’m back in Singapore for 4 days already.
I had a great time in Sweden and Europe, but it’s still the best to be back in Singapore, back to my parents.
I had experienced living and surviving by myself for the past 6 months.
I have learnt a lot, seen a lot and experienced a lot.
I’m simply happy to be back to my parents’ side.
Nothing beats home.
It’s really home sweet home~
No more laundry, no more worry about wat to cook, no more worries for house work =P
I have spent approx 13k for my whole of my SEP + all the travelling.
It’s not a small amount.
But it’s definitely worth for the experiences I got from the trip.
That’s all for my adventure to Sweden, to Europe.
Time to settle down in Singapore again and get use to the lifestyle, weather and everything.
Quite glad that I’m adapting quite well back in SG.
Still can cope with the weather.
Got a little Jet lag, but I’m still getting enough rest (coz I sleep to 12pm everyday =P)

Now that the journey came to an end, it’s time to put a full stop to my blog.
Can’t believe I have posted an entry almost everyday for the past 6 mths.
There’s many occasions when I felt lazy to update my blog.
But I persisted for the sake of keeping a full memory of my stay in Sweden.
Though my journey to Sweden has ended, I will still keep this blog going.
Just that I will not update meatball_hans everyday like what I have done for the past 6 months.
I will still post entry whenever I have event associated with my Sweden trip.
eg gathering with my groups of cooking friends (FBSB) in Sweden etc
So do come back once in a while for update, or u can always read my old blogs again.
Or u need any ideas about what to have for dinner, do look through the entries for idea ;)
I’m more than happy to share the recipe with u =)
Anyway, I should be uploading the photos that I took during my Europe trip soon.
Took like 5000 photos during the 20days Europe trip.
Definitely need some time to sort them out and upload them.
