something is going on. three cop cars just roared out of the apartment complex as i sit here alone on my porch with all of my old thoughts in the surprisingly cool weather smoking my third cigarette today. i just watched a really beautiful movie called obselidia about how nothing lasts, everything dies eventually unless someone loves it enough for it to live forever. the filmography was gorgeous, and it made me wish i had another day off so i could wander around town, hop a bunch of random buses that i've never taken before so i can take pictures for hours and not worry about what time it is or where i am. some day. maybe thursday. we'll see.
