Sorry for not posting here recently. I've been a bit busy what with the holidays and such. I've neglected posting snippets and links to Lifeinflux for the last three posts and wanted to get them out here in case anyone was interested. So here we go!

Posted December 31, 2009: On December 31, 2008, I was sitting at Office of Personnel Management, sending out 45,312 emails to GoLearn users who were on the system but not paying for their usage. I was also dealing with two new hires that I regretted hiring about a week after they were brought on board. But they were my hires and I was stuck with them and all the good, bad and ugly of my soul-sucking job. Posted December 23, 2009: Last night I peeked at my progress on my 101 things in 1001 days list and, to be honest, it’s not great. Sure, I managed to juggle building my company and landing those first few, all-important contracts while running the Drama Club program at Drue’s school. Did I mention I’ve brought in two contracts for my company with an upcoming third and fourth contracts pending in the wings? Granted, movement on them is slow since I am splitting my time between business development, filing paperwork to make this company a reality and the actual work of the company. I have a part time developer, may have found a full time developer (won’t say definite until he’s actually hired), and have a freelance graphic designer on stand-by for some upcoming projects in the spring. Sure, that’s pretty good but I know I’d be doing twice the work if I had been well for the bulk of my fall season. The flu came a’ knockin in late October followed immediately by a double bout of bronchitis. These two illnesses cut a swath though the time, energy and well-being of the Gloege family and I, for one, am sick of being sick.
