Home from Arisia... a first entry. :)
Well, I'm home from Arisia. Still exhausted despite spending the better part of the afternoon curled up in bed. I had a great weekend, but I need to work on my abilities to do late nighters again-- I feel so OLD!
I decided to open up a livejournal, even though I'll still be using my regular journal frequently. I plan on using this one for random scribblings, quick little vents... that kind of thing. I might occasionally copy some of my journal entries over, too. I'm not sure yet.
Part of the reason I opened it up is because I went to a panel at Arisia that discussed livejournal and other blogs, and it seems EVERYONE is on here. Even though I love Diary-X and think it's the best service out there, I have come to realize that with the large presence of Arisia-goers over here, it probably would be a good idea to be on the forum that they're using as well. Particularly since I HATE having to sign livejournal guestbooks remembering to sign my name at the end of the entry.
It would be nice to meet a few new people and make some more contacts for next year. I love hanging out with Erich, but it would be fun to know a bunch of other people, too, that I can say hi to and chat with while at the con.
*sigh* I need more caffeine.
