SUN!
The summer has finally, finally returned after weeks of rain and clouds and less than summerly temperatures. Now we have sun, blue skies and temperatures about 30°Celsius.
And of course I got sunburn already. I spent perhaps 20 minutes in the sun yesterday when Mum and me went to the strawberry-fields to get some delicious fruits. Those 20 minutes where more than enough to turn my skin bright red.
My pupils aren't sure what to think about such weather three weeks away from the holidays. On the one hand it is great, on the other hand they are constantly complaining that it is too hot - one girl insisted she was melting when we were on a field trip on Thursday - and it wasn't that hot that day. But seriously, they aren't the only ones that hope that when the thermometer climbs beyond 30° on Monday the school will end early.
