I'll miss you, I'm goin' back home to the west coast..
So, remember the 95 Accord I bought? I had it inspected when I bought it and it was clean. Took it to a mechanic a few days ago to make sure it was road worthy. He said I wasn't driving this car anywhere any time soon. Suggested $1800 in repairs. I took it to a different mechanic. Same deal, only this time $1600 in repairs. Finally I took it to a Honda dealer. $2300 in repairs. I got seriously, seriously ripped off by buying this car and there is nothing I can do about it.
So, I'm now spending the last of my money to rent a car to drive to Portland. I'm doing a one-way from Alamo, a midsize, with a GPS for $580. I know I can survive in Portland without a car (my dad is going to sell this one, it's staying ), but the extra expense is just so frustrating.
Oh well. I leave for Portland tomorrow morning.
