To Kris, Chanyeol is like a butterfly.
It is beautiful, full of freedom.
Bringing happiness to everyone.
Symbol of hope.
Reachable, but ain’t meant to be kept in a jar.
So soft, but unwavering and determined.
It can fly around the world, but will come back to the place it should be.
And Kris wants to be that place, where Chanyeol will surely go home to.
To Kris, Chanyeol is like the sand.
Grasp it with your hands, and it will slip away.
Put it on your open palms, and it will remain there.
And Kris wants to be those palms, so that he can keep Chanyeol to the last.
To Kris, Chanyeol is like a kite.
Free to fly high to the sky, without fearing the heat of the sun burning it or the wind wavering it to its destination.
But although a kite flies, it has string which reminds it that it still belongs to the ground.
And it has a boy, who keeps it fly in the sky, but reminds it when it should go down to the earth and take a rest.
And Kris wants to be that boy, who gets fascinated by the kite,
Keeping it fly to the sky,
Helping it to get even higher,
But always being ready to catch it when the wind gets too strong,
And cuts the string; dropping it hard to the sole ground.
Because that boy will always protect his dearest kite no matter what.
Kris is the one who is always there for Chanyeol.
Wherever Chanyeol goes, whatever Chanyeol does;
He is always protecting and supporting him from behind.
And reminds Chanyeol that it only takes a minute of his precious life,
To turn around and find Kris, who will always be two steps behind.
