Public - information posts only. Announcements, info on channels, things like that. This journal is friends-only, but that's more to help me organise my content for my readers than to keep people out. Of course, if I decide I don't like you then you're probably out on your ear. ^.^
Friends - recs, rants, reviews, news, discussions, writings, requests for comments and more. Anything I consider to be important (along with some fairly regular rants on various subjects) will be visible to everyone whether they like it or not, but I do know how to LJ-cut and I will if there's anything ridiculously long. Channels you can view, and their possible content, are as follows:
- Sci Fi: Farscape, Star Wars, recent developments in science and computing
- Fantasy: Lord of the Rings, Discworld, Harry Potter, Greek mythology, upcoming fantasy films and TV shows
- Gaming: Baten Kaitos, Zelda, D&D, Golden Sun, resource links
- Wicked: bookverse, musicalverse, news on the show and current or past players, performance reviews
- News: recent RL developments, releases, discussions
- Music: recs, rants, playlists, rec requests
- Writing: all fanfic recs, technical discussions, tutorials, prompt lists
- The Works: all non-private content, only select if you genuinely want everything
Tags will be used within channels to narrow down content further. Subscribe to (and unsubscribe from) channels by commenting here, and once your request's been filled or denied I'll respond to your comment and let you know. As ever, I reserve the right to say no.
Private - my personal diary, and anything that's under construction or maintenance. If one of the info posts goes missing, it probably means I'm messing around with it and don't want people commenting on it while I'm busy.
