Hi my names Touya I am not normmaly supposed to talk to strangers but here goes.

I think I kind of woke up here its sort of like a book. Do you like the book Alice Through The Looking Glass because its my favorite. There was also a movie. I like Dinah the best. I think this could be another world like that book

Um, it's a book, you know? Like you read it. And it's about a girl who goes through a mirror and walks on a magical chess board and there's a poem called Jibjabberwocky in it. My dad says it's about England and he knows this kind of stuff, but I just like the story.

Really? I've never heard of a book like that. What's a Jibjabberwocky? Where's England?

If there's a library around here, you should check it out. A Jibjabberwocky is a monster you should beware. But a Prince took care of it with a big blade that went snicker-snack. Also it's kind of a funny poem.

England is a country that's far away from Japan. They speak English there. England is also the home of London.

Is there no England here?

Uh, I don't think so. Someone told me this is a curse, an' we're only here for a day.

A curse? I don't like curses. They're very serious things. Sometimes ghosts want to put curses on you because they're mad you're alive and they're not.

Is that why we're here? Did you make a ghost mad?

You can see ghosts?

Um, I dunno. I don't think I did, 'cause I'm pretty sure I ain't ever seen one before.

It's okay, most people can't see them. I'm not really s'posed to talk about it, either.

I don't think ghosts usually put curses on people who can't see them unless they have a grudge against that person. Would a ghost have a grudge against you?

Doumeki said his ojii-san can see 'em! You ain't gonna get in trouble, are ya?

I don't think so. I can't remember makin' any ghost mad!

It's not the kind of get in trouble where your dad sits you down and says let's have a man-to-man talk about this thing you did or where you get sent to bed with no dessert. It's more of the kind of trouble where grown-ups freak out and get kind of pale and sweaty and then they want to talk about something else. I don't know why it's bad to talk about it, a lot of times they're just lonely.

I don't know what kind of curse this could be, then. Maybe a witch or a sorcerer is behind that. Teacher says they don't exist, but she says the same thing about ghosts.

I've never had a man-to-man talk with my dad, though I'm pretty sure I got sent to bed without dessert once. But I don't think I've seen a grown up do that before. Maybe they're just afraid of ghosts?

They might here! I've met a couple o' people who've said that they ain't human, an' Vash the Stampede an' I even saw a Plant outta it's bulb once!

They are not so bad but you have to sit still a really long time in your chair and if you squirm too much he will say maybe you're not old enough to discuss this situacion like adults and its time to sit in the corner.

I guess some people are scared of ghosts. Some of them are bad. Most of them just float around minding there own business.

Someday I think I would like to meet someone who is not a human like that.

Can they talk? Or can you touch 'em? What do they do if they ain't nice? Do they get in trouble for doin' bad stuff?

Most o' the ones I've met were pretty nice. That Knives guy wasn't, but I dunno why.

No, but that's what happens if you misbehave, you're not supposed to have fun.

Some of them can talk. Some of them are really loud and cry and yell a lot. Some of them don't say anything, they just stare. Sometimes they see me and sometimes they don't see me. If they're not nice they might try to scare me or topple things on me. Once I even got scratched by one, but mostly unless the spirit is really really strong they can't really hurt a person.

I've never tried touching one because that would be pretty rude.

Knives? If I had a name like that I wouldn't be nice either.

That sounds kinda creepy. Can ya chase 'em off, or do they just keep comin' back no matter what?

Not if you try to shake their! hand or somethin'!

You think so? I didn't think names made you mean, but maybe his does.

You just sorta get used to it. If they need help, you help them, otherwise you mind your own business, just like regular people.

Well. Maybe kids on the playground made fun of him. They said, "Knives seems like a mean name for a mean person. He could be dangerous. I don't want to play with him." So then he decided to be a bully.
