Grey's Anatomy rant (spoilerific)
Firstly, before all the hate, how much do I love Izzy's hair right now? It's very Elliot Reed, third season. Also, I want to give Burke the biggest hug.
Okay, hate time: George, grow a spine. How many patients do you need to boost up your pathetic little whiny ego about your non-existant relationship with Meredith? I think that's about four already. There's a reason she hesitated - you're nothing to her. Oh, also, don't give a person an ultimatum and then get shitty if they pick the 'wrong' one. It's just sad. And I have been saying since the pilot that the chemistry between you is utterly sexless. It would be practically incestuous to watch you two get it on so god help me when that happens later in this season, I think I'll be needing a barf bag and a looooot of liquor. Also, I'm not a fan of the 'McDreamy is an asshole' plotline. The show is more interesting when you actually like and sympathise with all the characters. Don't do the Dawson's Creek thing of making someone a random jackass simply to justify another character breaking up with them or whatever. If you make him unlikeable, Meredith loses all credibility for still pining after the jerk (not that everybody doesn't hate her and is totally watching the show despite her presence already) and as DC proved, if you hate two parties of the love triangle, you won't want to watch, since you won't believe that the third, likeable party remains in the emotional clutches of the other two. And then Pacey became a wanker. But that's a matter for a different rant. Writers, do better. If I can predict where you're going, then you're not doing well enough. Step it up if you want to be worth your apparent weight in Emmys (which is the award equivalent of being worth your weight in helium).
In conclusion: stop sucking. You're this close to turning into a thousand other shows, all of which have lead actresses without a visible sternum and better hair so they've got a lead on you there already.
