(no subject)
The weekend was probably the most fun I have had in awhile. It has been a very long time since I have gone out on the town to drink and dance and have fun. Mainly because I don't like leaving Alex out all of the time. I also don't like making him go out which he does for me. Drinking out side of the house isn't really his scene. Although I think he would have enjoyed Sutters because of the lack of people. Sutters really wasn't so hot. But I knew that already Trevor went there one night with Becky and said it was really lamo.
If your bar is across the street from the Suny Albany Campus and isn't raging on a Saturday night at 10 PM something is wrong with your bar. Sorry thats just how I feel. In any case it was still fun because we brought the party.
It was a lot of fun to go out with my Co-workers. I have never really worked at a job where I got along with the people I worked with enough to actually want to hang out with them outside of work. It is a lot of fun. I now realize how much it helps to work with people that you actually get along with. At the State I really didn't get along with anyone, and that job was horrible. It would have been horrible anyway but I believe that any horrible job can be made more tolerable if you have a good relationship with your co-workers. This is proven at Borders.
In other news I am going to be purchasing a new phone. I am torn between the Rumor by LG or the Centro by Palm. The Rumor is cheaper and has a lot of the features I would be looking for in a phone. Centro is a step above the Rumor. About $50 more and I might have to add on things to my existing plan if I buy it. Although I am not 100% sure on that piece of information either. I just assume I will need to get the unlimited web access in order to justify the purchase of the more expensive smart phone. Although because it is also a PDA it will be really handy for my schedule. No more lugging around my monthly planner everywhere I go because my monthly planner will be my phone. It is also extremely tempting to be able to write journal entries from my phone. Yet another thing I can do while I am at the Kiosk.
There was something else I wanted to say, but I got so excited about the phones that I completely forgot. See if I had my Centro I would be able to post an entry when I remembered no matter where I was in the world!!!! I think I already made my choice I am just pretending I am going to be sensible and not go for the outlandish phone.
