My girlfriend and I are talking about politics. I ask her if she has heard that Joe Lieberman plans to run as an independent if he does not receive the Democratic Party nomination. She says, "Who is funding this? Why don't they spend their money on something more useful, like building a giant statue out of marshmallows?"
