Ch...Ch...Changes
I still can't believe it. I really can't. It still seems so strange to me. I am now the proud owner of my own vehicle. I picked it up on January 28, 2004.
Ye gads, what have I let myself in for.
It's just so very strange to think of myself as a car owner. Well, actually van owner. Yep, I'm now the owner of my very own '95 Ford Windstar GL. A red one to boot. This is a very scary thing.
Of course, the main reason why I have a vehicle is because I start a new shift at work tomorrow (February 2, 2004). As of that date I will be on a 4:30 pm to 1:00 am shift. And I am positive I will be much happier with this shift because it's an E-Care shift. Which means that I will be answering emails more than I'll be on the phones. Yay!!!!!! But as a result of this shift, I no longer had a way to get to and from work, so I needed to get my own vehicle, which I now have. This is so cool.
It also appears that with this shift I'll actually get some writing done because E-Care does occasionally go on the phones, but is usually only on it to take the overflow and so don't have back-to-back calls. I'll get to do some writing done in the odds and ends time periods. Also with this shift, I should hopefully have more time before work to do stuff (ie. my sites, fic, housework).
Well, that's about all of the new stuff in my life. Not much is it. Of course, I lead a rather boring life.
